A tea party for Tea

It was an afternoon of girl mojo as I grabbed mom, Tea and one of Tea’s besties (and girls that we love), Jody, for a tea party to celebrate our girl turning 24!  Woohoo!  Can I just say — even though I’m the one that arranged it — that it was just tons of fun for all four of us?  The Queen Mary Tea Room is this small, ridiculously ornate, extremely floral spot near UW in Seattle that plops you down in your own little London and then feeds you too much. I kid you not.  We had the formal afternoon tea and check out everything we got!

English crumpet
Cranberry orange scone
Carrot tea bread

Queen Mary Tea

We got into all the fun of being there and decked ourselves out with feather “fascinators” as well which our waitress appreciated.  I mean just look at how well we wore them! : )  We were stylin for sure!
Happy Birthday Tea!
