I won an Ipod today! An orange one even which is my current favorite color. I’m telling you, I’m a very lucky person. (Okay, technically I have tried for the HGTV Dream Home every year for the last five and it’s looking like I didn’t get it again this year but even lucky people have to share the fun. ) I signed up last month for a new electronic newsletter being offered by a talented graphic design firm I think highly of (http://www.luminouscreative.com/ if you are in need of a great creative firm) and they drew my name as a thank you gift recipient! In other cool news, I had a very good time talking with the women from KKNW’s Chat with Women show yesterday. So good, in fact, that they’ve asked me back for a live studio show and a full segment rather than just a short phone interview. They were so much fun to talk to that I’m totally looking forward to it. I’ll be on April 8th at 8:15 – right before I leave for Florida the next day. But that’s not all . . .

Today I also got asked to join the Mountain Music Morning Team for an in studio interview as well! Now the Mountain (103.7) is my favorite music station so I’m quite pleased to be asked, albeit a bit nervous. Those morning show gigs seem a bit scary since crazy entertainment is part of getting everyone woke up on their way to work. That interview is going to be either March 25 or 26 — I’ll keep you posted. For both, I am bringing along my appetizers and they are planning to do taste tests right on air. Here’s hoping they all like sweet potatoes! I know I sure do these days (and I hear my niece has developed quite a fondness for them too as one of her favorite first foods!) And I also love wonderful Pillsbury who is making all this wild and crazy, free-flowing fun possible!
