Okay, so last night’s book celebration party made all the rewrites worthwhile and even if I only sell a hundred books to my friends and family it was totally worth it! The party was the best! For this author, that truly was plenty and anything else is just a bonus.
We just had so much fun. The weather was awful but we still packed the house (literally!) My parents were very kind to sponsor the party so I got platters. My sister Lora and her guy Darryl, came over bearing trays of Christmas cookies! My other sister Jen and her guy Darryl came in with a huge Christmas bouquet. My friends and family were all so wonderful and supportive and I got some incredibly kind and thoughtful gifts. Who knew this author stuff could be so lucrative?!
I live lucky and all the good stuff happens with the help of my peeps! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who love and support me in all of your ways — including you my loyal and regular readers. I am rich in every way that matters as a result — and constantly happy. It’s a good way to live!
