Well for a weekend with “found” time, I’ve sure “lost” most of it! Boy does time have a way of filling up.
Yesterday morning was full of chores followed by groceries and Target, back home at two, change for a wedding, get going at three, beachside wedding at four. whew.

The very lovely wedding was Glen’s cousin Lisa and her special guy Sean. His family has a beach home in a community about 30ish minutes north called Warm Beach. We had another perfect September day yesterday but, doggone if it wasn’t clouded over at Warm Beach at wedding time. It still wasn’t raining and warm enough to move on and we enjoyed sitting by the water, watching the boats while we waited for the wedding couple.

Lisa had selected pretty yellow as her color and I loved her use of lemons and seasonal flowers. And her bouquet was lillies which I’m crazy about.

We hadn’t seen Lisa in ages — she had been living in Salt Lake City — so it was wonderful to check back in during such a special event. And Glen got to see a cousin he hadn’t seen since they were young in the 70s, and meet her three daughters, so that was a big “reunion” for sure!
Glen had planned to attend alone while I was gone this weekend and I had sort of forgotten about this as a result. I was glad I got to go along and see the pretty bride and all the people wishing them well. Happy life ahead!
Today, promises to be equally busy. How are people supposed to be able to work 40 plus hours a week and keep up with everything else? It’s challenging for sure! So many interesting things to pursue in our world today.

Thank you so much for joining us on our big day! It was so wonderful to share that with you guys. I’d love to get together sometime soon
