Well, after a whirlwind time in Idaho, I’ve jetted back to town tired and dragging a nasty cold with me. boo hoo. Hate these things. They knock you down something fierce. None the less, a blogger must persevere, so here I am with some this and that.
First up, I’ve gotten enough packages lately for Glen to ask me if I have something going on with the UPS guy! Tis the season. I’m a big mail order girl – even before it was “popular” – and this is the time of year when celebrating and gift giving come together to become more packages at the door. I even ordered new rugs by mail – which will be “debuting” here, of course, soon.

Check out this super fun drink we had over at the hotel bar in Couer d’Alene! One big fish bowl and three long straws = a whole bunch of fun. That’s my good friend Chris with me who has my same job for Tacoma and her friend, and now mine too, I mean once you share a fish bowl drink together you just gotta be friends
, Sonja.

And check out what Chris taught all of us at lunch one day. This is a shortcut for how to know which bread plate is yours and what glass of water is yours. You make “birdman” eyes next to your place setting. The left hand makes a b for “bread” and the right hand makes a d for “drinks”. I know, I know, you just never know what you’ll learn here!

How do you like my fun new “Squawk”? I got it from one of the centerpieces at the conference award dinner. Sonja was super cool and snagged him for me because I had to have it of course!

I love this picture of our new guy Buster. He totally cracks me up! You never know where he is going to end up lounging. Obviously he is feeling more comfortable at home and he loves to sun bathe.
Which is easy around here! We have been having the most beautiful fall season in the Pacific Northwest ever. The mornings start out foggy – which is one of my favorite parts of this time of year – and then burst into bright beautiful days that melt into sultry evenings with the haze and sunset combining into the piece de resistance of the day! Love it all.
