Some quick random things tonight to share starting with this cool freighter shot going by our window. I love our new windows. You can be sitting, enjoying a little TV, chatting, and not miss the cool things passing outside in the bay.
Here’s a super cool idea I’m passing along from one of my bestees Tamy. Look at how clever she is taking her framed photos and putting them all in this open chest for people to browse through. Instead of a photo album, she’s made a photo chest. so clever!
My BirchBox arrived full of fun products with a back to school theme. When we were little my sisters and I loved to get the “surprise” boxes/bags in the little touristy gift shops. For a dollar or so you got something all wrapped up and you didn’t know what it was. That’s what these monthly boxes remind me of — a modern day version of a vacation surprise box only with better stuff! : )
For the 24th year in a row, I worked our fair booth today on opening day. Loads of people love this time of year and spending time out there but it’s really just not my thing. But I will say it is a little freaky how little it has changed in that much time. I’ve aged far worse than that fair has! Got me a gyro on the way out so life was pretty fine really. If you live around here — get your squeal on for some fair time fun! now through Labor Day.
