For a vacation week, the week — and me — has been pretty quiet. But its still had its bursts of interesting moments. Here’s a few pics that capture the goings ons.
Let’s start with this shot of Glen’s cousin Alan’s darling youngest son Isack. He and his dad stopped by on the 4th for a visit and Isack got decked out in a pair of Glen’s swim trunks. Crack up!
Check out my super cool surprise birthday gift from Glen. We travelled in South Africa several years ago and brought home this wonderful original oil painting of a boma. Ever since then we’ve been planning to frame it and Glen finally did — with our old mahogany window molding that was removed in the recent remodel. Win, win, win!
Looked out our window today and this guy was going by! Love where we live!
Styling my new holiday glasses!
Finished this book by Cheryl Strayed this week and enjoyed it. If you liked “Eat, Pray, Love” you would likely like this as well. They’re really similar in that each of them went on a challenging quest of sorts to find themselves. I’m not a hiker but this made me think I should reconsider that — the Pacific Crest Trail is calling! Ha!
Lastly, I love this photo that I found cleaning the garage this week! It’s my two nephews Tyler and Nathan being silly for their aunt who was taking a photography class at the time and needed models. So So So cute!
Mom and dad were over tonight for a barbeque and, hey, it was good if I say so myself! We had ribeyes, salmon, lobster, grilled mushrooms, salad and baked potatoes. Then we sat and watched the Mariners whoop on Oakland. Nice! : )

Good job Buddy!!! I’m glad you had a fun Birthday. 9-12-25 Zorro
